Mackerel gratinee

1-2 tins of Mackerel fillet in oil
800 g potatoes
100 g grated yellow mozzarella
500 ml cooking cream
50 ml white wine
2 tbls olive oil
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp coriander
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper

Method of preparation:

1. In a big bowl mix the cream, wine and the spices. Slice the potatoes in thin slices and arrange them in an oiled baking tin, layer by layer, placing pieces of mackerel between the layers of sliced potatoes. After every 3-4 layers, pour some of the mixture of cream and spices, until you fill the baking tin or run out of cream.
2. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°С for about 45-50 minutes or until the potatoes are soft. Shortly before you take the baking tin out of the oven, sprinkle the grated mozzarella and bake until it turns golden brown.

Serve hot, with a slice of lemon, to taste.
